Siding Spring Southern Seyfert Spectroscopic Snapshot Survey
- 130 low redshift (z < 0.02), southern (declination < 10◦) AGN host galaxies (Dopita et al. 2015).
- FOV: 38 × 25 arcsec2 using the Wide Field Spectrograph (WiFeS) on the ANU 2.3m telescope, with a spatial sampling of 1 arcsec pixel−1. :WiFeS is a double-beam spectrograph with three gratings mounted on each arm (one high resolution grating; R = 7000, ∆v = 43 km s−1 and two lower resolution gratings; R = 3000, ∆v = 100 km s−1).
- S7 observations are conducted using the high resolution red grating (R7000, λ = 530- 710 nm) and a lower resolution blue grating (B3000, λ = 340- 570 nm).
