我的常见错误

常用

• 图的标题开头不要带the
• 句子开头的数字不能用阿拉伯数字
• 修饰形容词和动词用副词
• 因此是therefore不是therefor，therefor是个副词,作“为此”(for that, for this, for it)解,用于正式语体,尤其是法律文件中。
• 一致性用 consistency 不用 consistence

介词to, as， with, from， of，in，on

• similar to 而不是similar with, similar as
• compare to 不是compare with
• is equal to 不是 equal to
• reaches -18.5 mag不是reaches to -18.5 mag
• different from 不是different with
• limit studies to only .. 不是 limit studies only on...
• with a lower limit of the member galaxies 不是lower limit to the galaxies
• knowledge of the extinction 不是knowledge on the
• 被命名为 named John，不要named as John
• Our motivations for doing （不是of）
• A detailed study of ...(不是on)
• benchmarks in studies of (不是on）
• a plateau of 90 percent (of 不能少）
• separations between two members (不用of），不一定要between A and B

冠词 the

• in terms of 不是in the terms of
• inside radius of 100 arcsec 不是 inside the radius of 100 arcsec (体会这个100 arcsec不是特指）

单数，复数

• contamination 不可数 用contaminants
• at given luminosity (不是at a given)
• as a function of (function 可数）
