The observations show that dust gradients are indeed typically steeper than the corresponding metallicity gradients.

HST的image测量z>0. 5的星系团中星系的alignment的指向，发现500Kpc以内的星系基本上没有特殊的指向。红星系可能有，但统计上不显著。这和低红移z ～ 0.1 的结果差异比较大。解释：显著演化效应还是SDSS的image分析有系统bias？
